Frequently Asked Questions
We aim to provide you with answers to some of the most common questions customers have about our dealership and the services we offer. We hope you find our FAQ section helpful and informative as you navigate your car buying and ownership journey.
What are your hours of business?
We operate a 24/7 online contact portal where we generally reply within 6 hours.
For in person appointments we operate 1000-1800 Monday to Saturday with scope for later appointments during summertime hours.
How long have you been trading?
Since April 2018.
How do we book an appointment?
Contact us through our various platforms to arrange and agree a slot.
What will happen on a viewing?
Our site uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) so we will need the vehicle registration mark (VRM) of any personally used vehicles you attend the site in. After parking on site, you will either meet a member of staff in the reception or by the car of interest. You will then be given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and any relevant paperwork and ask questions. If deemed suitable for your needs we will move on to a test drive. We will check your driver’s licence before any test drive.
Can I test drive a car?
Yes but only with a member of staff present in the front passenger seat both on or off site. We will take a copy of and retain your driver's licence during a test drive. Test drive is subject to the driver agreeing with a full damage liability disclaimer.
Do your cars come with a service history?
All vehicles will be recently serviced prior to sale. However not all vehicles will be sourced with previous service history. Rest assured that all vehicles are rigorously checked to ensure current standard is up to where it should be with before & after health checks often provided.
Do your cars come with warranties?
We work with both Warrantywise & Momentum warranties who provide chargeable warranties for vehicles up to 12 years of age at competitive rates.
Do your cars come with long MOTs?
All of our vehicles should come with at least 6 months MOT.
Is any scheduled maintenance due?
Most vehicles will have been recently serviced prior to sale.
Do you change timing belt / chains on your vehicles?
All timing belt / chains are checked in the course of our vehicle inspections and if deemed necessary we will change them. However we always encourage customers to do this themselves if they have any concerns as any dealer can say it’s changed to deflect the question. We prefer full transparency.
How do I apply for car finance with you?
We are FCA regulated. It’s a simple process and we have access to hundreds of lenders no matter what your circumstances are. Contact us for more information.
Can I arrange my own independent inspection?
All of our vehicles come with at least 6 months MOT but of course, we can facilitate & agree with at least 72 hours notice from a reputable company.
Are your prices negotiable?
We very rarely get customers asking for price reductions as we tend to be in the top 10% cheapest or best value vehicles in the country. We take a lot of time and effort in preparing a car for you to minimalise the prospects of additional cost.
Do you deliver?
Yes minimum £75 inc VAT or £3 per mile according to WAZE SAT NAV.
We require customers to pay for vehicle in full, including non-refundable delivery costs, prior to any delivery. Please contact us for more information.
Can I part exchange my vehicle?
Sure. Please check first with WeBuyAnyCar for a rough trade valuation.
We can not confirm part exchange valuation until we physically inspect vehicle. We can not accept vehicle without a V5 in customers name.
Do you purchase used cars?
Only on a part exchange basis however an online search will provide you with several car purchasing services offering such options.
If you have a question that is not covered by the above, please get in touch. We’re always here to assist you.
